Virtual Meeting Tools

Raise your hand if you’ve attended a virtual meeting or event in the last month? Wow! That’s a lot of hands. Now raise your hand if you truly understand the difference between a webinar, a livestream and a virtual conference? Huh, not so many hands. Now raise your hand if you’ve watched Tiger King? Just checking.

It does not need to be explained that the current climate has seen a pivot in event structure like no time in history. While in the past, a virtual component to an event was often a luxury add-on, today we are all utilizing virtual meetings to conduct business, receive continued education and just spend time with friends.

The fundamentals of a virtual meeting or event are the same as the in-person version and at Bespoke, we are here to help our clients navigate the entire process from purpose to execution. We understand that a virtual meeting must rely on content and can suffer without the excitement and engagement of face-to-face interaction. We can walk you through the murky waters of determining what kind of virtual event solutions are best for your company, how best to engage your attendees and help provide the support and solutions that will bring your event to the next level.

Just for your reference:

Webinar - Webinars typically last somewhere from 45 to 80 minutes. Holding webinars virtually allows attendees from around the world to join in and listen as one or more speakers present the content. Webinars typically use video conferencing tools that allow Q&A, the ability to present live or a pre-recorded video and be offered as on-demand after the fact.

Livestream - Live streaming is the broadcasting of live video to an audience over the internet. It can also be a one-on-one live video chat. Unlike pre-recorded videos that can be cut and edited, live streaming is just that – live and uncensored. All you need to be able to live stream is an internet enabled device, like a smart phone or tablet, and a platform (such as website or app) to broadcast on.

Virtual Conference - Much like in-person conferences, virtual conferences are built around a live, complex agenda that includes keynotes, sessions, breakouts and more. Virtual conferences include multi-session content and can involve community engagement tools.

Tiger King – A bingeworthy documentary on Netflix.
